Menopause

ADDRESSING HORMONAL CHANGES

Menopause is a normal transition in a woman’s life usually occurring between the ages of 40 and 55. During this phase of life many women will experience distressing symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, abnormal bleeding, mood changes, insomnia, or sexual dysfuntion. At NSW, all of our physicians are qualified to help our patients transition through this life event. Both Dr. Wise and Dr. McMahon are NAMS (The North American Menopause Society) Certified Menopause Practitioners. Our office is equipped to provide the diagnostic and therapeutic resources you need.

If perimenopausal or menopausal symptoms are affecting you, please call to schedule an appointment with your physician; she will help you develop a treatment plan specific to your needs. There are numerous resources for you in our office as well as at the NAMS website, www.menopause.org.

Together Women’s Health is here for all of your female health needs. Please note that services may vary across practices and locations.
