Dr. Dugan-Kim joined the highly regarded team at The Northwestern Specialists for Women in 2009. Driven by a desire to help patients achieve both their wellness and family-building goals, Dr. Dugan-Kim provides comprehensive and compassionate medical care to women throughout every stage of their life. The array of obstetrical and gynecological services provided by Dr. Dugan includes annual exams with a focus on lifestyle medicine, adolescent contraceptive counseling, management of PCOS, preconception counseling, infertility evaluation and treatment, and pregnancy care (including multiples). She also treats uterine bleeding and fibroids, provides medical menopause management, performs colposcopy and LEEP procedures as well as gynecologic imaging. Dr. Dugan also performs both traditional and specialty minimally-invasive surgical procedures such as hysteroscopic fibroid resection, endometrial ablation and laparoscopy. Completing her BS in Biology with a Minor in Spanish from the University of Illinois Urbana/Champaign, Dr. Dugan graduated Magna Cum Laude and earned the title of James Scholar. She went on to complete both her medical degree and masters in public health at Northwestern University Medical School, earning membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She completed her residency at Northwestern University Prentice Women’s Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident. She is a Board Certified Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In her free time, Dr. Dugan enjoys an active city life with her husband and two daughters.
